Abstract

This master’s thesis focuses on assessing the impact of working conditions on the prevention of employee burnout in a selected organization, specifically in the ABB EUOPC operations center in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to burnout syndrome, its causes, consequences, and prevention, with emphasis on the Job Demands–Resources model and the concept of wellbeing. The practical part is aimed at analyzing the working environment in ABB EUOPC and evaluating the results of a quantitative questionnaire survey conducted among the organization’s employees. Based on the findings, the final part of the thesis proposes measures and recommendations to improve burnout prevention at the organizational, team, and individual levels.
