Modernizace pásové dopravy na hnědouhelném povrchovém dole.

Abstract

The presented thesis describes technology and equipment with new innovating elements for modernisation of long-distance belt transport in a brown-coal open-cast mine from several viewpoints: conceptual, technological and economical - within the possibilities of the current requirements on operation of this equipment. The modernisation is gradually described and elaborated in a manner allowing each reader to become familiar with the belt transport in brown-coal mines and what potential for innovations it offers (utilisation of frequency converters and installing control systems). The modernisation of long-distance belt transport brings about not only increased energy efficiency of the drive systems (newly controlled by means of frequency converters) but also increased safety and reliability of the operated equipment, standardisation of its construction, unification of controls, possibilities of operation of individual drives and, in case of a defect of a drive, the possibility to operate the system in an scaled-down emergency mode.
