Abstract

Many applications today focus on the analysis of the human face in the image, and first stage in processing the face is its recognition and subsequent localization of facial landmarks. As this discipline poses considerable challenges, new ways and solutions are constantly being sought. The aim of this study is to learn about the most important ideas and methods in the field of face landmark detection. Verification of the functioning of existing techniques and comparison of their accuracy and speed under various lighting circumstances, as well as subsequent use of the information collected for the development of a program that analyzes and utilizes facial landmarks.
