Analýza proměny regionální politiky Evropské unie ve Španělsku v letech 2007–2027

Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis presents comprehensive view of the European Union Regional Policy with a focus on its implementation in Spain in 2007-2027. Spain went through a major transformation since joining the European Union in 1986 from a very weak economy to one of the world's most developed economies. Participation in the European integration has contributed to the stability of the country. The aim of the Bachelor Thesis is to confirm the importance of European Union Regional Policy for Spain and to deliver an analysis of the implementation of the policy in the country within the programming periods 2007–2013, 2014-2020 and 2021-2027. The Bachelor Thesis is divided into three chapters, supplemented by an introduction and a conclusion. The first chapter focuses on the introduction of the theoretical basis of the European Union Regional Policy. The second chapter presents the socio-economic analysis of Spain for the period 2007-2018 and describes the country's regional structure, including the NUTS classification. The third chapter analyses the changes in the European Union Regional Policy in Spain for three consecutive programming periods 2007–2013, 2014-2020 and 2021-2027. In addition to the eligibility of the regions the chapter compares instruments, typology of the operational programmes, and the financial framework of allocations for the last two programming periods, together with the prediction of the allocations for the following period.
