Abstract

Krčmář, I. The bachelor thesis called „Center Kasárna – Opava“ is a continuation of urbanistic study from subject Studio work III. And also od study of the building itself in subject Studio work IV. The aim of the thesis was to create a new cultural and social center for the citizens of Opava and its surroundings. From the urban point of view, it was the revitalization of the former Dukel’s barracks, their replenishment and the revival of the place. Center Kasárna – Opava should becoma a new social place. At the same time, i tis one of the new studio’s directly at the Dukel’s barracks the surrouding area.
