Odpovědnost za škodu dopravce v mezinárodní dopravě a možnosti pojištění

Abstract

Práce „Odpovědnost za škodu dopravce v mezinárodní dopravě a možnosti pojištění“ se věnuje mezinárodním dopravcům a právům a povinnostem při jejich činnosti. Cílem práce je ujasnit, jaký význam má pojištění odpovědnosti za škodu v mezinárodní dopravě pro možné krytí rizika a zkoumat, jak mohou pravidla a zvyklosti v mezinárodní dopravě ovlivnit její efektivitu. První kapitola obsahuje výčet pojmů a jejich definice, které souvisejí s daným tématem práce. V druhé kapitole jsou shrnuty mezinárodní úmluvy, pravidla a zvyklosti, kterými se dopravci řídí. Třetí kapitola se zabývá teorií k pojištění a uvádí praktický příklad, který poskytne náhled do průběhu uzavření obchodu mezi prodávajícím a kupujícím, také zapojení dopravce a řešení škody, která může nastat v průběhu přepravy určeného nákladu.

This thesis „The Carrier´s Liability in the International Transport and Transit Insurance“ deals with international carriers and rights and obligations within their activities. The aim is to clarify the importance of liability insurance in international transport to cover possible risks and examine how the rules and practices in international transport affect its efficiency. The first chapter in cludes the terms and their definitions relating to thesis topic. In the second chapter, those the international conventions, rules and practices are summarized governing the carriers. The third chapter deals with insurance theory and presents practical example that provides with view to the process of the trade conclusion between the seller and the buyer, the carrier´s involvement and solution of the damage that may occurduring specified cargo transport.
