Technické památky v Ostravě

Abstract

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the Technical Monuments in Ostrava. The thesis is divided into the six main chapters. In the theoretical part I explain the basic information of tourism, as well as I am trying to explain the term of an intelligible form - technical monuments, their separation, usage, or the importance for tourism. In the practical part I focus on getting acquainted with the city of Ostrava and the technical Monuments located in this city. Most of these Monuments are architecturally very interesting units which define the unique character of this city. I think that it is necessary to highlight their importance for the development of science and technology in this region. For the most technical Monuments (Hornické muzeum OKD, Důl Michal, Dolní oblast Vítkovic) I analyze their attendance in recent years, some of their funding sources. For the purposes of the fifth chapter, I conducted a questionnaire survey, which aimed to establish awareness, interest and attitude to the technical Monuments in Ostrava. This chapter is accompanied by some graphs with brief comments. In the conclusion, I suggest measures, which would make the technical Monuments in Ostrava more attractive. The main objective of my bachelor work is using some available materials to analyze the technical Monuments in Ostrava and bring these monuments to the schema_dspacedb.
