Uplatnění a rozvoj agroturistiky v České republice

Abstract

The presented work deals with the development of tourism in the Czech Republic. The first part contains information from literature and web sites related to tourism, rural tourism and agritourism. The development of agritourism is discussed in detail particularly its promotion, the importance, negative aspects, accompanying programs are presented here too organizations active in rural tourism and agritourism. The following section focuses on a questionnaire survey, which identifies the current state of tourism in the Czech Republic, visitor satisfaction with accommodation and offered services, attendance of Agrofarms and promotion of individual farms. A SWOT analysis of rural tourism in the country is also a part of this work. In view of all findings, recommendations are suggested as well as measures that should improve the services offered by Agrofarms adapt the offer services to the needs of potential visitors and thereby increase their number. The proposals and recommendations should help the development and application of agritourism in our republic.
