Abstract

The subject of the bachelor's thesis "Senior citizen center with housing Ostrava -Hrušov" is processing part of the project documentation for the implementation of the construction in the range according to the bachelor thesis. The content of the work is to design a home for the elderly in the city of Ostrava Hrušov, which is part of a larger complex used for accommodation, catering, recreation and rehabilitation of seniors. Housing for the elderly offers both a comfortable living and a comprehensive health and social care for older people self-sufficient. Modern living in a social facility will meet not only the aesthetic and hygienic demands, but also the requirements for barrier-free operation and appropriate design solutions building parts. The project is based on the previously processed urban studies dealing with the revitalization of the Ostrava - Hrušov site in the subject of Architecture Design Studio III and also builds on the architectural study within the semester project of Architecture Design Studio IV.
