Význam prosociality pro proenvironmentální chování v kontextu energetické transformace

Abstract

Prosocialita je považována za významný indikátor ekonomického a proenvironmentálního chování. Přesto existuje málo zdrojů, které by se konkrétně zabývaly vztahem mezi prosocialitou a podporou financování energetické transformace. Energetický sektor patří mezi největší znečišťovatele a podílí se na téměř polovině světových emisí oxidu uhličitého. Cílem předkládané disertační práce je zjistit, zda může existovat statisticky významná souvislost mezi prosocialitou a proenvironmentálním chováním v kontextu energetické transformace. Pro dosažení cíle byly zvoleny metody dotazníkového šetření podpory návrhů inspirovaných Státní energetickou koncepcí a experimentu v podobě hry na veřejný statek s příspěvkem na reálný účel. Bylo zkoumáno, jak podpora politických návrhů a přispívání do fondu energetické transformace souvisí s prosocialitou a dalšími socio-ekonomickými a hodnotovými charakteristikami účastníků. K vyhodnocení dat obdržených v dotazníkovém šetření byly použity metody regrese (GETS a OLS) s robustní směrodatnou odchylkou a klastrové analýzy pomocí Wardovy metody. K vyhodnocení experimentálních dat byly využity metody korelační a regresní analýzy (OLS) s chybami klastrovanými na úrovni sezení. Z výsledků je patrné, že prosocialita pozitivně koreluje s podporou vybraných návrhů financování energetické transformace, kooperací ve hře na veřejný statek a přispíváním do fondu energetické transformace. Dále se ukázalo, že podpora energetické transformace souvisí s politickou orientací, pracovním statusem a dalšími situačními charakteristikami. Závěrem lze konstatovat, že prosocialita může představovat významný prvek v rámci podpory energetické transformace.

Prosociality is considered a significant indicator of economic and pro-environmental behavior. However, there are relatively few sources that specifically examine the relationship between prosociality and support for financing the energy transition. The energy sector is among the largest polluters and accounts for nearly half of global carbon dioxide emissions. The aim of the presented dissertation is to find out whether there can be a statistically significant connection between pro-sociality and pro-environmental behavior in the context of energy transformation. To achieve this goal, the methods of a questionnaire survey of support for proposals inspired by the State Energy Concept and an economic experiment in the form of a public good game with a contribution for a real purpose were chosen. The focus is on how support for policy proposals and contributions to an energy transition fund are related to prosociality and other socio-economic and value-based characteristics of participants. Survey data were analyzed using regression methods (GETS and OLS) with robust standard errors and cluster analysis using Ward method. Experimental data were evaluated using correlation and regression analysis (OLS) with errors clustered at the session level. The results indicate that prosociality positively correlates with support for selected energy transition financing proposals, cooperation in the public goods game and contributions to the energy transition fund. Furthermore, it was shown that support for energy transformation is related to political orientation, work status and other situational characteristics. In conclusion, it can be stated that prosociality can represent an important element in the support of energy transformation.
