Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the media image of the Moravian-Silesian on the basis of the Content Analysis of the Mladá fronta DNES daily. The second chapter deals with the theory of image creation, marketing of towns and villages. The third chapter contains the geographical, political and historical context of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The fourth chapter deals with the theory of content analysis, the fundamentals of research, its preparation and implementation. The fifth chapter describes the practical bases of content analysis of Mladá fronta DNES articles and their results. Chapter Six is conceived as a practical part, when an introductory article was written, questionnaires were asked, interviews were written, and a column is included in the last part of this chapter.
