Abstract
This thesis includes the Bounce Prevention Project for the planned longwall panel #14 037 in Block 4 of the Jan – Karel coal field at ČSA Site, Karviná Mine. It describes the natural geological and mining conditions of the rock mass in which the planned longwall panel is to be located and mined. Further on, it explains regional and local forecasting methods and the classification of the longwall panel and its adjacent entries in specific bounce risk classes; active and passive bounce prevention actions are then proposed which are to be executed during the longwall mining process. The thesis describes the method of continuous employee tracking in a dangerous zone that represents a new element in passive preventive measures and indicates the ways to improve the efficiency of bounce prevention struggle.
