Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the financial analysis of BONATRANS GROUP company, a joint stock company based in Bohumín. This company focuses primarily on the production of railway wheelsets and their parts. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of theoretical definition of financial analysis, information sources and definition of individual methods. In the practical part, various methods of financial analysis are applied to the company. Selected methods include analysis of status indicator, analysis of difference indicators, analysis of ratio indicators, and analysis of sets of indicators, including pyramidal decomposition and prediction models. The financial analysis is processed to determine and evaluate the financial position of the enterprise.
