Abstract
This thesis deals with nanotechnology used in wastewater treatment. They are listed here remediation techniques used to detoxify wastewater, surface water and groundwater and contaminated sites. There are also described the possibility of purifying water using iron nanoparticles, and more use of modern nanotechnology.
