Výbuchové parametry směsi uhlovodíků a metanolu

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the design and testing of a methodology for determining the explosion parameters of a mixture of hydrocarbons and methanol. The main goal is to quantify the effect of adding methanol to the liquid mixture depending on the volume concentration and the initial temperature. The partial goals of the work are a summary of the state of knowledge in the field of the studied issues and the acquired knowledge in the field of explosion parameters of a selected mixture of hydrocarbons and methanol. Furthermore, mathematical prediction of explosion characteristics of the studied mixtures by a suitable mathematical model was made. Optimization and adaptation of experimental apparatus for measuring explosion parameters of liquid mixtures, its individual parts, measuring procedure and method of evaluation of measured data. Analysis of filtering and smoothing of a record by various mathematical functions. Summarize the measured data and compare the explosion parameters of gasoline as a mixture of hydrocarbons, methanol as a pure substance and gasoline with the addition of methanol. Applicability of results in fire protection, industrial safety and technical protection of persons and property. The scientific-research outputs of the work can be used for teaching in the field of study Technical safety of persons and property and for detecting the risks of special safety technologies dealing with liquid fuels.
