Abstract

Attached document presents a broad method of water resources usage in Krušnohoří. First part explains water usage related to medieval mining, founding mining towns in this region, ore mining and timber rafting. Modern history is focused on water resources usage for industrial development of region and coal mining in surrounding Podkrusnohoří. Next part presents information on current major regional water-related infrastructure, crucially important for providing both drinking and industrial water. Last part of this document is about new, currently non-existent, water-related infrastructure project, discussing building and running impacts, both positive and negative.
