Abstract
This theses is focused on Bouřlivec mountain stream in Mikulov in the Ore Mountains where frequent storms often take place and therefore there is a high frequency on flood conditions. The task of this theses was to evaluate the current situation in the case of exceptional flood occurance and to suggest some arrangements to reduce eventual damages caused by Q100 flood flow.
There are some mountain streams attributes briefly described at the beginning of this project. In the next chapter there is outlined the development of mountain stream fencing in Europe and Bohemian countries and the ways of mountain streams treatments. The next part of project is focused on basic geographical, geomorphological, geological, hydrogeological, pedological, hydrological, biological and ecological chracteristic of the area, the geometric characteristic of Bouřlivec catchment area parts of interest and its tributaries in this area. There is a current situation also being desribed in this part. There are some analysis and characteristic of the stream floats, determination of average annual sediment production in the region and the formation and transport of sediment in Q100.
The suggestions have been arranged to stop the transport of sediments in the area as well as anti- flooding protection in the flow valley and Mikulov. There is an evaluation of suggested adjustments in the end of this project.
