Digitalizace veřejné správy v České republice

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the digitalization of public administration in the Czech Republic. The thesis aims to evaluate the digitalization of public administration by researching the rate of awareness, use, and satisfaction of citizens with public administration’s digital tools. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned with specifying fundamental terminology of public administration and its digitalization. The practical part of the thesis uses data acquired from a questionnaire and secondary data from the years 2019–2023, primarily from the Czech Statistical Office and other relevant sources. Attention is given to selected digital tools used by citizens in communication with state administration authorities. The thesis evaluates the current state of digitalization in the Czech Republic, and based on the acquired findings, the thesis proposes recommendations for further development.
