Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of sales of facultative trips. Concerns specifically ALEX Ltd. travel agency in Egypt. I chose this topic just because I have worked for this company in Egypt as a delegate and a guide. The sale is analyzed in the context of secondary and primary research. Secondary research is based on sales reports, where I find most sold trip, the ratio of adults and children on trips, development of sales, the impact of the packages and the average spending. Primary research is a form of direct questioning on the satisfaction with the trip, delegates and transportation. The questionnaire also found what has the impact on sales, how many trips are sold and at what prices, on average. Facultative trips can be divided into four groups: cognitive, sea, safari and others. This thesis has 7 chapters, which contain an introduction, the characteristics of the company, sales of theoretical background, research methodology, analysis of the results, proposals and recommendations and conclusions. The sixth chapter contains several proposals to improve the quality of services of travel agency to achieve even greater customer satisfaction.
