Abstract

In the design of electrical equipment (circuit breakers), I dealt with two problems, electrodynamic effects of short circuit current Id = 10000 A and warming solution hen passing rated current In = 25 A. For the solution of electrodynamic forces, I created a model of current-carrying circuit paths, and out of this I generated a simplified model of the track, according to which the proposal is counted. With the ultimate solution of forces, I get the size and direction of forces acting on the contact pressure. In the case of warming solution I come out from the created model and the shield of circuit breakers which passes heat to the surroundings. I consider the fact that the total heat generated in the current-carrying path will be diverted only by the front cover. At the end of the heat problematics I created a heat network with the help of which I check allowed warming. The following part deals with the proposal of quenching chamber. The solution determines the necessary number of ribs for limiting the short circuit current.
