Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on the description of devices for treatment and transport of pulverized coal into the blast furnace (PCI) and optimal operation of blast furnaces with this technology. Coke, which has a role in a blast furnace as a fuel, and other functions is relatively expensive raw material. For this reason, the coke is partially replaced by pulverized coal, which is injected through tuyeres into the blast furnace. This technology is both economically and technologically advantageous.
