Abstract
Recently, is has become more and more of a trend to reduce electricity consumption of appliances at the cost of maintaining their properties. This trend also influenced lighting technology, which now LEDs are used due to their high conversion efficiency of electricity to light. This paper deals with the problem of implementation of LEDs in the automotive industry via a converter, which will be controlled via CAN bus and will drive performance in selected LEDs. The main objective of this work is to propose a more universal converter that allows the implementation of LEDs in the automotive industry. The aim of development is to design such a conversion device, which will have high efficiency, and will continue to be able to be energized from a car's electrical system, which handles voltage fluctuations, and which can be connected to the required number of LEDs.
