Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of competitiveness analysis of selected industrial company Cemmac. The theoretical part presents the theory of competitiveness in the position of competitive environment and its changes. Today's businesses operate in a context of constant change and, in particular, accelerating environmental change, to which they must respond flexibly. Competitiveness is defined in the context of Porter's five forces model and SWOT analysis in a comparison of Cemmac and Považská cement works as its main competitor. The proposal for increasing the competitiveness of the industrial company Cemmac is the content of the final part of the work and presents innovations as a significant factor of business competitiveness, effective marketing on the social network and the project of using CRM system as a competitive advantage of today's successful enterprises.
