Ekologická a faunistická charakteristika svahů vybraných odvalů v Ostravské pánvi (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera)

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the ecological and faunistic characteristics of the slopes of selected spoil tips in the Ostrava Basin in order to assess the possibilities for their better integration into the landscape. It focuses on diurnal butterflies (Rhopalocera) and also analyzes selected environmental factors of the habitat. The study was conducted at five selected spoil tips, where fieldwork took place from June to September 2024. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on post-industrial habitats and their importance for diurnal butterflies, further addresses the characteristics of spoil tips, and introduces the group of diurnal butterflies and the natural conditions of the study area in a separate chapter. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the implementation of original faunistic research and the analysis of selected environmental factors.
