Abstract

The aim of this thesis on the topic "Design and control of a lighting system in an industrial hall" is to design two variants of lighting systems, consisting of discharge lamps and LED luminaires. Comparison of both variants and suggestion of its control for the selected variant. The work is divided into six chapters. The first two chapters are devoted to the theory and legislation that is necessary to know for the implementation of a quality lighting system design. The third chapter deals with the design of two variants of lighting systems and luminaires that are used in them. The fourth chapter deals with the possibilities of controlling lighting systems in general. In the fifth chapter, a proposal is made for the layout of lighting fixtures together with their control and power switchboards. The last sixth chapter is devoted to the operational and investment evaluation of both variants of lighting systems with the calculation of return.
