Přenosné zařízení pro dálkovou identifikaci zvířete

Abstract

This thesis contributes to the developing field of IoT. Thanks to the easy availability and low costs of current IoT technologies, it is possible to modernize some aspects of the agriculture industry, specifically the issues of animal tracking, control, data storage, and recognition. The thesis focuses on designing a device that can locate its own position and then autonomously send this position wirelessly to the user’s Android device. The aim of the thesis is to select a combination of technologies that ensure the basic functionality of the solution. It is also necessary to design two device prototypes (transmitter and receiver) and then construct, program, and test these devices. The solution follows a methodical approach, starting with research on the topic, followed by the design of component combinations and their connections. After the connections, there is a description of the back-end and front-end design, and the final chapter is devoted to testing. The result of the thesis is a physically constructed and programmed prototype device. The device can send its GPS location to the user, who has an application that can provide a clear visualization of the GPS data and the ability to work with related animal data.
