Abstract

This thesis deals with an overview of water ditches, canals and sewers situated in the Czech Republic, their description and importance. In the other part there is precisely described the history, construction and reconstruction of the technical monument Blatensky příkop. The next part is about attractive places, towns, cultural and natural monuments situated near the water canal Blatensky příkop. In the last part there is a learning path in the close area of Blatensky Canal that will guide visitors along the stream of the canal back in the time.
