Abstract
The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to introduce the position of the Euroregion Bílé – Biele Karpaty in the frame of the cross-border cooperation in the Czech Republic and analyse its benefits in the involvement of Euroregion Bílé – Biele Karpaty within Czech - Slovak border cooperation. Last but not least, the Thesis aims to describe the course of the programs of the Czech - Slovak border cooperation.
The Diploma Thesis is divided into the five chapters. The second chapter focuses on issues of cross-border cooperation in Europe. The third chapter introduces Euroregion Bílé - Biele Karpaty itself. The fourth chapter deals with the involvement of the Euroregion Bílé - Biele Karpaty within Czech - Slovak border cooperation. It also aims to conduct the implementation of selected programs and supporting projects comprehensive assessment of the scope and benefits of the Euroregion
