Abstract

In this bachelor's thesis, I focus on the creation of a key to a horse's heart. It is not meant to seem like something that can be easily obtained, as it might first appear (wind up pony - usually this refers to something mechanical, something 'soulless'). On the contrary, you must 'create' this key through trust and patience. The theoretical part includes not only information about natural communication with horses but also about Art Nouveau (both organic and geometric) which inspires me in making the key itself, and we will also talk a little about foals and keys. Regarding natural communication, there are many methods, and we will examine several of them. The key will be solely an artistic object and will not be functional; I mainly want to highlight the meaning and benefits of natural communication. The practical part includes the work process from the creation of the model to the finished cast.
