Abstract
This diploma thesis focuses on the occurrence of higher harmonics in low-voltage industrial networks and their mitigation. The practical part analyses passive filters in three real applications. Active filtering is evaluated theoretically. The results are supported by a technical-economic comparison and a reflection on investment return in the context of power quality standards.
