Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of employee education and training within the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The aim of the thesis is to develop a study focused on designing an employee education system to ensure the continuity of the organization’s operations. The theoretical section defines the basic principles of the BCMS, the importance of the human factor, and the principles of employee education, including forms and methods of training. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the application of these findings within the context of a model organization. Based on an analysis of the current state, a system for employee education and training is proposed that reflects the requirements of the ČSN EN ISO 22301 standard and the principle of continuous improvement. The proposed measures aim to increase employee preparedness for crisis situations and to strengthen the organization’s ability to ensure the continuity of its operations.
