Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of employee education and training within the
Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The aim of the thesis is to develop a study
focused on designing an employee education system to ensure the continuity of
the organization’s operations. The theoretical section defines the basic principles of the BCMS,
the importance of the human factor, and the principles of employee education, including forms
and methods of training. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the application of these
findings within the context of a model organization. Based on an analysis of the current state,
a system for employee education and training is proposed that reflects the requirements of the
ČSN EN ISO 22301 standard and the principle of continuous improvement. The proposed
measures aim to increase employee preparedness for crisis situations and to strengthen
the organization’s ability to ensure the continuity of its operations.
