Abstract
The Thesis deals with evaluation and comparison of abrasion wear resistance of white cast iron XCr18 in as-cast and heat treated state in rolling friction mode. The results are compared with other material alternatives, incl. used sandwich coating of type TiN/TiB2. The analyses are done also on the basis of hardness measurement, chemical analysis and metallographic evaluation, incl. informative phase automatic image analysis.
