Turistický potenciál města Přerova

Abstract

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the tourist potential of the town Přerov. I drew it up under the supervision of prof. RNDr. Arnošt Wahla, PhD. My goal was to characterize and evaluate the tourist potential of the town Přerov. I also evaluated a presentation of the town not only through its website, the public Internet. The theoretical part describes basic concepts of tourism as well as issues of tourism potential. The next section sets out the fundamental characteristic features of the town of Přerov participating in its development. Local attractions of natural and cultural-historical type are also represented, offered services and facilities coming under the material-technical base of the town. The thesis describes the activities which the town participates in within the development of tourism. There are also provided some recommendations due to which it might improve the view of potential visitors to the town of Prerov. The last section evaluates the level of information presented about the city Prerov, which are available on the website dealing with the promotion of tourism in the Czech Republic and various tourist regions. The topic I have elaborated was very interesting and contributive to me, since I am permanent resident of the town of Přerov. I have learned many new details about local attractions. I have acquainted myself with the situation of the town and its future intentions particularly in the field of tourism.
