Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused not only on nutrition and fluid intake of firefighters during and after interventions, but also on diet out of interventions. The first part describes the activity of the firefighter and the risks caused by failure to observe the principles of healthy nutrition and fluid intake. The following section describes the energy output and the closest example of firefighting. In the next part are discussed principles of healthy eating, functions of individual macronutrients and principles of drinking regime. The penultime part deals
with appropriate of the firefighternutrition during and after intervention. The questionnaire survey and its evaluation is in the last part mapping the preferences of the firefighter's food during their intervention and their interest in healthy eating. The findings are summarized and a suitable diet for firefighters is proposed during and after intervention. This thesis is processed to improve the nutritional habits of members of the Fire Rescue Service.
