Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of selected types of financing for an investment project of the company ABC, specifically the renewal of a fleet of 50 MAN commercial vehicles. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the economic efficiency of different financing methods — equity financing, bank loan, operating leasing, and financial leasing — using the method of discounted cash outflows. The theoretical part describes various forms of debt financing and methods for evaluating investment projects. The practical part presents the specific investment and the calculation of total discounted expenses, including tax implications and discount factors. Based on the calculations, operating leasing and bank loan were identified as the most advantageous financing options. The results provide ABC with a basis for a rational decision on the optimal financing method.
