Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on providing the catering of employees in the contributory organization. Catering is provided to employees and clients of the Nursing Home and Retirement Home. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to assess the suitability of outsourcing in a selected contributory organization. The problem was solved using the method of description, comparison, synthesis and deduction. The thesis compares the organization's catering with catering offered from an outsourcing company according to the same criteria. It was found that based on the cost criterion it would not be beneficial to use outsourcing company on the other hand based on quality criterion it would be benficial. Other criteria such as time of delivery, the number of possible delivered meals and weight of meals are comparable in both models. Following a comparison of diet programs, there was found a possible risk of providing adequate dietary meals on the part of the outsourcing company.
