In this work on hand forging technology of knife blade with surface finish treatment presents the results of processing steel CSN 14260 414260 when forming appropriate procedures and compliance with the conditions of heat treatment blade knives get those qualities that are comparable to much more expensive materials.
For samples blade hardness tests I conducted digitally tester TH-140 to evaluate the hardness measurements from six different locations of the sample. Toughness material samples without notch was detected by transfer to Charpy hammer WPM PSD. Metallography sample blades is presented in such a magnification that the apparent change in the structure.
It has been shown that precise compliance with the temperature of heat treatment can achieve high utility properties of the material and to obtain the most appropriate hardness of the blade to the area of use.
