Abstract

In the first part of this diploma thesis we will recognize with nickel alloys, superalloys and intermetallic types Ni3Al. The properties and usability of the mentioned materials are described in the first part of this diploma thesis too. The second part of this diploma thesis deals with experimental compression tests, structure, microhardness and porosity of Ni-Al-Zr based alloys at as-cast and directionally solidified state. Grit and centrifugal casting were used to prepare as-cast structure, Bridgman's method was used to prepare directionally solidified structure. The investigated Ni-Al-Zr alloys differed in different aluminum and zirconium contents.
