Videoanalýza konfliktních situací vybraných křižovatek na ulici 17. listopadu v Ostravě-Porubě

Vladislav Křivda, Ph.D. The aim of this thesis is to analyze conflict situations at selected intersections using the video-analysis. First selected intersection is light controlled intersection 17. listopadu – Vřesinská and second one is the intersection 17. Listopadu – Rudná. It will be assessed the interaction between these two intersections and it will be also created a simple microsimulation in PTV VISSIM program. First part of this diploma thesis contains a description of individual intersections and traffic-engineering survey. Second part contains a description of video-analysis of conflict situations. Third part describes how to create a simple microsimulation, search for an optimal solution to improve the continuity and safety of traffic flow. Fourth part is an analysis of data obtained from PTV VISSIM and the conclusion contains the overall assessment of the interaction between these intersections.
