Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with biofuels and a environment. First, it focuses on energy policies of EU and the Czech Republic which are connected to legislative regulations about biofuels. Only briefly it outlines something in terms of biomass energy. Further it describes the division of biofuels and subsequently it describes distribution and characterization of biofuels generation in more detail. At the conclusion of my work focuses benefits of biofuels. It also solves a issue of biofuels, both for motor vehicles and their emissions, but also how biofuels can affect a environment, which can have serious consequences for the population.
