Abstract

There is elaborated the analysis of the sulphur dioxide emissions from especially big combustion resources that partake in the air pollution in the area of Ostravsko in this dissertation. In the theoretical part is worked up the influence of sulphur oxides and especially of sulphur dioxide on the environment and the human health. There are said the possibilities of emissions reduction, reduction of especially big combustion resources and selection of these resources in the area of Ostravsko, too. The practical part is intended on evaluation the emissions production of the chosen resources and on own verify measurement leading to reduction of the emissions draining into the air. There is solved the possibility of the emissions reduction regarding the prepared changes in legislature in relation to proposed limits and to technical and economical possibilities.
