Prsten inspirovaný tvaroslovím organické architektury

Abstract

In this bachelor's thesis, I focus on creating a ring according to my own design using the precision casting method on a wax model. My inspiration comes from the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí and Jan Kaplický. The theoretical part of this thesis delves into the evolution of the goldsmith craft and the development of jewelry associated with it. I also explore the history of rings and their significance in other cultures. Additionally, I discuss the fundamental principles and rules of organic architecture, along with examples of buildings in this style around the world. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis summarizes the production process itself. I describe the design solution, the creation of the wax model, and the subsequent molding and casting into silver. Everything concludes with the finalization of the cast ring.
