Zázemí lázní s apartmány Ostrava-Vítkovice

Abstract

The subject of my bachelor thesis "Spa facilities with apartments Ostrava - Vítkovice" is elaboration of part of the project documentation for constuction work. This project follows my prior urban and architectural study that have been a part of ATT III and ATT IV. I deal with the part of Spa komplex situated in a former mine in my thesis. The composition of the whole building brings a new public space for social interaction and offers a calm place for searching and exploring spiritual and physical relaxation at the same time. Functional and compositional arrangement associates with the movements in mining corridors. I aimed to create an object that will be technically functional, aesthetical and useful for Ostrava city and that will contribute to the fulfilment of the locality potencial.
