Abstract

This thesis focuses on the evaluation of risk factors in a welding shop. The thesis is imaginatively divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the first part, the basics of the issue are the main focus and are interwoven into the theoretical part. That is, we discuss the status and analysis of welding, why it is important to engage in the process and examine the health impacts associated with it. We'll quickly describe welding, breaking down the basic methods of welding, including their advantages and disadvantages. In the second part, we get into a description of the company, a description of the workplaces where the welding shop is located, and a description of the jobs for which we'll be assessing risk factors. We'll then also comment on the state of the categorisation of work in the company before our intervention and discuss in more detail the individual risk factor protocols and evaluate the results of these protocols. Our result will be the classification of welders into the resulting job category. The final step of our work is to propose specific measures to reduce the risk factors occurring in the welding shop. The thesis highlights why welding needs to be further addressed even in these modern times.
