Abstract

The aim of this bachelor dissertation is to map the current situation related to the processing of consumer waste. The introductory part describes the problems of waste in the old days, but also compares the situation after 1989 to the present. The next part of this dissertation describes the characteristics of consumer waste . Other parts are focused on waste of transport, electrical and electronic equipment, and municipal waste. These types of consumer waste covered many existing legislation. Some of them are directly described in the bachelor dissertation, and others are included in Annex. The last part deals with technological methods of processing waste.
