Abstract
This thesis deals with types of corrosion, cathodic and either anodic protection of metal, chiefly of devices, which are in the ground and use the source of stream. According to this, corrosion can be slowed down or stopped. The second part deals with the practical activities in monitoring of corrosion situation focused on the water line, including the implementation of cathodic corrosion protection.
