Abstract
This thesis deals with the eGovernment issues in the Czech Republic, this means providing of the electronic services by public administration bodies. The work defines eGovernment from different points of view of significant institutions, it describes eGovernment development and the most important related legal documents. Then, the present model of Czech eGovernment, its symbols and its most important parts are discussed. The thesis also analyses the most important fields of computerization and its realized projects. The last chapter focuses on the problems of public administration computerization and its prospective solutions as well as the evaluation of its efficiency.
