Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on studying and designing new nanocomposite materials, which could be used as a material for biliary stents. For the preparation two polymers were chosen – polyethylene oxide and polyvinylacetate. The polymers were modified by vermiculite or by carbon nanotubes. Structure of prepared samples was analysed by light digital microscope and scanning electron microscope. Antimicrobial properties of prepared samples were tested by antimicrobial assay.
