Abstract

The dissertation is engaging in the basic traning of members from the Villages Volunteer Fire Service Units. Its aim is to compare the model of this training in the Czech Republic as well as in Saxony, Germany. The Fire Service units from the Czech Republic and the basic information about the Saxony’s Fire Service system is described in the first two parts. The next two parts describe the current training procedure in the Czech Republic and Saxony. Ire Service Units from both countries are compared in a separate part. Based on the findings and knowledge from the assessed country, the foundations for improvement of the training in the Czech Republic are proposed in the last part of this dissertation.
