Abstract

The diploma thesis is a part of the project for revitalization of the Moravian-Silesian Region No. 35 / ACT - Updated Project 35 - "Complex solution of methane emanation in relation to old mining sites". In the thesis, I study the geological and geomorphologic characteristics of the assigned area LÚC 36 and its closest surroundings. In the following chapter the radon properties and its origin together with the factors influencing the radon emanation from the subsoil are described, the principle of measuring and data processing of electrical resistive tomography is revealed. I also deal with the brief characteristics of methane, methanescreening and geological profiles of degassing wells. At LUC 36, I study the conditions for measuring radon volume activity. Then I evaluate the results of measurements of volume activity of radon, electrical resistive tomography and I compare them with the results of methanescreening.
